About Me

I am a voice specialized speech-language pathologist and current PhD student (ABD) in the Speech Accommodation to Acoustics Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

My research is focused on voice disorders—developing diagnostic and treatment tools related to biofeedback, voice acoustics/vocal status ratings, and room acoustics to improve health outcomes and quality of life.

Prior to my time as a PhD student, I completed a voice and upper airway clinical fellowship (2021-2022) at the Lakeshore Professional Voice Center. I received my M.S. (2021) in Speech-Language Pathology with a Specialization in Voice Disorders from the MGH Institute for Health Professions where I was awarded a Special Recognition Award for Research. I received my B.S. in Speech and Hearing Science, with a minor in Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019 and was selected as a member of the Senior 100 Honorary.
